This year’s exhibition, titled “Living Transitions“, presents artworks created by and within communities living through transition. Culture is not a backdrop to transformation, it is how communities make sense of it, hold on to what matters, and imagine what comes next. The exhibition gives that a physical presence at the conference.

We invite artists or groups based in a JTF region to present their work at this high-profile event. Selected projects will be featured in the exhibition at the JTP Conference and in the premises of the European Commission.

Who can apply?

To be eligible, the work must meet three criteria: the artist or group is based in a JTF region; the work carries a distinct artistic concept rooted in the community experience of the transition process in the region; and the submitted images are of sufficient quality for poster production.

Please note that this call is open to European JTF regions and candidate countries (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Kosovo, Moldova, Montenegro, Serbia, North Macedonia, Türkiye, Ukraine).

Participation in the exhibition requires in-person attendance at the conference, as this will be an opportunity for project representatives to promote their projects and answer questions about their work.

How to apply?

Applications must be submitted exclusively via this survey by 30 September 2026, 23:00 CEST.

Applicants are required to provide information about the type of work and themes created, their artistic project and how their work relates to the community’s experience of the region’s transition process. They must also include at least one high-resolution image showcasing the project.

This information will be collected in order to create one poster per artist. The JTP Secretariat will handle their design, printing, and cover all related exhibition costs. Applicants will only need to provide the requested content according to the specifications shared.
